Juliet Cos., a Las Vegas based commercial real estate developer, is developing a vast 325,000 sq ft power center in North Las Vegas. This venture is called Deer Springs Crossing and will be built in a 35 acre area and will have 25 buildings.

According to the data available with local research and advisory firm applied analysis, there is around 3.8 million sq ft land available in Las Vegas for retail purpose. Juliet Cos has signed an agreement with Rome’s Golden 40 LLC, who is the landowner. RSJ Architecture will design the building architecture and J&F Construction has been given the permission for constructing the complex.

Situated at North Fifth Street and Deer Springs way, this complex will consists of Kohl’s departmental store in the first building while the second building will consist of another stand alone restaurant which will be constructed in the initial phase of construction. All the remaining buildings will be constructed in the second and final phase which will include junior anchors and in-line multi-tenant buildings of different sizes. The project is scheduled to be completed by 2008.

In the same lines, Juliet Cos has partnered with an Illinois-based firm called Western Retail Real Estate of Oakbrook, and planning to develop a 725,000 sq ft complex in Henderson called Lake Mead Crossing. This is a two-phase project built on an area of 73.5 acres located on the northwest corner of Lake Mead and is scheduled to start off in May and is tentatively open for retail around mid-2008 or early 2009.
